Judge Winter has asked for volunteers to assist her in obtaining signatures for her campaign petitions, and in turn will provide the LCYRs a generous donation for each petition sheet we complete. Join us for our monthly LCYR business meeting on September 8th, 7 – 9 pm, at The Lake County GOP Office, 230 Peterson Rd., Libertyville, and meet featured speaker Bob Schillerstrom.
“Bob Schillerstrom is a suburban leader and life-long Illinois resident who, as Chairman of the DuPage County Board, leads a county that is larger than six states with fiscal integrity, low property taxes, and an emphasis on results.
Bob Schillerstrom has lived and practiced law in DuPage County since graduating from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law. He began his career in the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting cases in the Criminal Division as an Assistant State’s Attorney from 1980 to 1983. Bob graduated from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill., with a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and History and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Bob lives in Naperville with his wife Mary Beth and their three children: Connor, Curtis and Katie.”

August Business Meeting

LCYR Business Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Lake County GOP Office (320 Peterson Rd, Libertyville, IL).****
The next Business Meeting is on Tuesday, August 25th at 7:00pm. Location is Lake County GOP Headquarters: 320 Peterson Rd, Libertyville, IL. We will be discussing the BBQ and what lessons can be learned for next year, as well as planning for our upcoming fundraiser.

LCYR Mid-Summer Event

Join us at Blarney Island for a mid-summer escape!
This is LCYR’s July Social which will be held on Wednesday, July 29th, 6 -9 pm at Blarney Island in Antioch. The shuttle service from Port of Blarney to the island leave on the hour starting at 6pm. The shuttle is located at 27843 W. Grass Lake Road (3.5 miles west of Route 59) in Antioch.
LCYR members under the age of 21 are welcome (with a wristband that we will arrange for you) for the whole 6-9 pm event. Members are welcome to bring guests.
