Don’t forget to come to our Meeting on May 20^th at Lake County Headquarters. We will be discussing the various Wisconsin recall efforts and the future of high school students within LCYR in this election cycle, as well as future events, internships, and social/networking opportunities.

If you come at 6 pm, Andrew Nelms from Americans for Prosperity will teach you how to use your phone as a mobile phone bank so you can help Governor Walker without driving up to Wisconsin. Please RSVP at LakeCountyYRs@gmail.com. If enough people send emails, the Chairman will bring snacks, possibly even something homemade.

The Warren Township Republican Organization has set up a phone bank in their office, 4628 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee. Join the Lake, McHenry and Kane County Young Republicans for the 3rd Annual Northwest Suburban Young Republican BBQ!

Speakers include Hon. Dennis Cook, Chairman, Federation of Illinois Young Republicans, Scott Gryder, Co-Chairman, Federation of Illinois Young Republicans along with Dan Proft and Eric Kohn of Operation Homefront-Illinois.

There will also be free food, live music, games, prizes and GOP candidates! Last year we had over 300 attendees, and with the 2012 General Primary election quickly approaching, we fully expect hundreds to be in attendance! You won’t want to miss it! Free and open to the public. Candidates are encouraged to bring petitions for circulation.
